Day One: Seafood + "The Mermaid" + Beach BBQ—Stuffed to the Brim!

We set off by bus in the morning and arrived right on schedule at noon. The very first order of business after stepping off the bus? Time to feast! A massive seafood banquet was immediately laid out—piles of shrimp, crabs, and shellfish stacked high. Who cares about calories when faced with a spread like that? After eating, the whole group collectively entered "nap standby mode"—only to spring back to life, fully recharged, an hour later.

At 3:00 PM, we stormed the filming location for the movie *The Mermaid*. Honestly, the scenery was truly stunning, and the water was an incredibly vivid green. My colleagues instantly transformed into "amateur photographers," snapping shots of one another until we had enough material to fill a full nine-grid collage on our social media feeds.

Next, we hopped on a sightseeing shuttle down to the beach for two hours of splashing around in the water. The main event arrived at 6:00 PM: a beachside BBQ buffet. Chicken wings, jumbo shrimp, meat skewers, mushrooms, veggies... since we grilled it all ourselves, even the slightly burnt bits tasted delicious. With our bellies full and our thirst quenched, we checked into our hotel at 9:00 PM. It had been such a jam-packed day that almost everyone fell asleep the moment their heads hit the pillow—that, I suppose, is the blissful feeling of being "so tired you forget everything else."

Day Two: Kayaking, Go-Karts, and Trampolines—Pure Thrills for the Young at Heart!

After breakfast on Day Two, we gathered at the beach and paired up to set off in kayaks. It was no exaggeration to call it a "Glass Sea"—if you looked down, you could clearly see the rocks lying beneath the water's surface. As we paddled along, the group naturally clustered together to engage in water fights and bumper-boat games—we looked like a flock of ducks running wild!

We came ashore two hours later, feeling hungry once again. That’s when they brought out a massive pot of "Iron-Pot Braised Goose." Oh my—the aroma was absolutely divine! We dove right in, grabbing chunks of meat with our bare hands—who needs chopsticks when the food is this good? After eating, we felt so satisfied we just wanted to lie flat on the ground right there and then.

The afternoon brought even more excitement: Go-Karts! Each of us got our own kart; safety came first, of course—but speed came a close second, and "saving face" a distant third. We overtook each other on the curves and raced full-throttle down the straightaways; after finishing a lap, everyone shouted in unison, "That wasn't enough—let's do it again!" Immediately following that came the joyful trampoline session—climbing walls, jump rope challenges, and group games—leaving us breathless with exhaustion, yet grinning so hard our faces hurt.

At 5:00 PM, the beach sunset made its grand debut right on cue, triggering yet another frenzy of photo-taking. That evening, we gathered in groups of six or seven around dinner tables; our appetites were so ravenous—as if we hadn't eaten in three days—that we polished off every last scrap of food in record time. That night, we hit the sack early once again, resting up and recharging our energy in preparation for the final day.

Day 3: A Scenic Train Ride, an Ancient City, and a Seafood Finale—A Perfect Send-off

After breakfast on our final day, we headed to check out "Sea of ​​Clouds Angel Bay." The trendy little sightseeing train chugged along at a leisurely pace, giving everyone ample time to strike various poses for photos. An hour later, we moved on to Dapeng Ancient City—home to a 600-year-old city gate, cobblestone streets, and distinct Hakka cultural charm—making it the perfect spot for a relaxed stroll. My colleagues gathered together for a group photo; walking along the old streets, we felt as though we had traveled back in time.

At lunchtime, we enjoyed another sumptuous seafood feast nearby—a fitting way to officially bid farewell to the ocean. At 2:30 PM, our bus departed for the return journey. Not long after boarding, the entire bus fell silent—everyone had drifted off to sleep, smiles still lingering on their faces. They were likely still dreaming of kayaking on the water or racing to grab the last grilled chicken wing.
